Escalators are turned off going up, and everyone walks down them like stairs. The way out after the show, especially from up top, took a a while. We were able to charge phones at our seats, too (we brought a charging cable). Lots of trash receptacles (not overflowing either) to discard cups etc. The glass tables that line the front were great to put drinks and food on, and the rolling and foldable chairs were in good shape and comfortable. The view from the Bridge itself was excellent. Not inexpensive (though again, comparatively priced for concert food) but you do get a lot.īathrooms (at least at the Bridge level) were clean and well-stocked. Chicken tenders, fries, mozarella sticks were all good as well. The people at the concessions were nice and efficient. Everyone else, though, was polite, professional, and helpful!įood was good, with prices similar to anything else you'd find at a show like this.

In the amount of time she took to say that she could have just directed us. The show hadn't even started yet and she was already done with people.

The one guard/usher at the entrance at the top of the escalators, when you first walk in to the concert area, not so much, though - "there's plenty of people down that way to answer your question," she snapped. Most guards and ushers were doing their jobs, watching the crowds and directing helpfully when asked questions. We sat up in the newer Bridge area, taking the escalator all the way up. Checking in with our tickets via phone/reader was easy, too.

Security was professional (do note facial recognition technology in use, as posted on the signs) areas to buy merch were arranged logically and lots of people took photos in front of the digital signage for the sold-out show. We were there to see Depeche Mode - this review isn't about the show (it was amazing though), but rather about the facility. The place has had some updates over the years, but overall has been clean and neat all the times we've gone. It's very easy to get to from the LIRR - you don't even have to go outside. We've visited MSG many times before, since the late 1980's, for a variety of shows and concerts.
